!FB general update from Zara

Hi - just an update - what Zara is up to:

Firstly !FB is a code that should mean that none of my updates with links in go to my facebook profile page - this is because a change in the facebook rules that mean's business posts / status updates aren't allowed to have sponsored links in - and if you are anything like me, it's almost second nature to add a link or reference to the latest product or gadget I am promoting in relation to my business interests - but commerical posts outside of the business pages can get you a facebook ban  however if you use Plurk to update your facebook status you can add !FB and that post won't go to your facebook profile - this is handy if you use hellotxt or ping.fm to say good morning to alot of people on different networks - as it means you can do a generic hello then - another one to your coffee buddies for example - which is what I do - that way I can still use one interface - i.e hellotxt first thing in the morning - then check up on individual networks when i feel like it.

Okay other stuff - I've quit the paid version of Zlio for the time being, I might have to retire Ning Nomads too in the future as like other networkers - it just doesn't 'pay to pay' and while I carry lose leaders for a while - the cash could be used to pay eBay fees instead - and eBay is virtually guarenteed quick sales - I am a bit more hesitant to give up Ning Nomads as I kind of like it there but it's running at a loss and I don't have the funds that twitter and facebook do to keep loss making activities afloat for long like they do!

So I'm clearing up ready for winter, my venues and other free blogs however can stay up as long as blogger is free - thus they are growing naturally using mybloglog and I am using the power of "cloud" hosting to set up venues - I am planing on making them more interchangeable - I am growing networking friendships of the networks - which is great - I have eBid (a free version of eBay) for UK sales, I have web hosting for storage - in short all the tools are there - it's just tweaking and optimising that takes the time - the groups will start to have people soon.

I am testing out Google websites, a way to have hosting for free with a theme - I have another wordpress blog for the coffee venues - the google website may act as a "cloud" point of reference so if you are an Affiliate on http://ilovegano.blogspot.com I might direct you over there for examples.

Anyway got to go now, I will speak again soon.

3 cash Machine is back

Yeay! I'm glad they got it sorted out with google, I like this little marketing machine.  I'm sending this out as a blogwide update as it means I will probabley be adding 3CM back to the healthy coffee downline builder - I will add it as an exta program this time and keep global domains there too as a separate opportunity:

the e-mail from Dan - incase you missed it:

I write to you with great news... The 3 Cash Machine has been re-launched!

Google has finally lifted the 'Attack Site' warning and we've got the site
back up and running. And it's going to be better then ever!

During the time that the 3CM was down, we've gone through the site with
a fine tooth comb and fixed a number of scripting issues. In particular,
an issue that prevented a small number of people from signing up. So the
sign up numbers should shoot through the roof this summer!!

As we have not been monitoring the support desk during the down time... our
mailbox has filled up with over 15,000 emails. A lot of this is spam. So
we're decided to delete all of these emails and start from scratch. Soooo...
If you sent a support related email to us over the past 2 weeks, please go
to your 'Sent Messages', find the email and resend it.

I've been totally blown away by the response of the 3CM members over this
past two weeks. I'm so very proud of you all!! Your letters of luck and
encouragement have been a true inspiration. Thank you to all of you that
wrote strong worded letters to Google. It just goes to show what strength
in numbers can achieve.

Finally - It was the 3CM's 1st birthday on Sunday (2 days ago)! We didn't
think there was very much to celebrate on Sunday... But now we feel like a
PARTY!! So to thank you for all your hard work over the past year, I'm
going to send you a couple of presents tomorrow... so keep your eye out for
that!

Thank you for your patience and humility.
I wish you a profitable new 3CM year! :)
Kind Regards,

Dan Weaver

Hi Zara Calling with powdery delights!

Just a quick broadcast to remind folks into coffee try out my coffeedownline builder thingy if you haven't already, it's a free tool that gives you two ways to activate your network - getting new recruits - and promote your products - firstly you can recruit via the front page referral URL you are given, or you can introduce people to all the sites on one splash page - the second URL.

This builder is a part of a suite of tools I am working on to bring people interested in coffee together - maybe I should start a coffee dating site like "plenty of coffee" ?  innit :P

Anyway - here's the bit.ly URL - I know my video is bad but you have to just do stuff sometimes right ? (unless you like people doing nothing o'course) http://bit.ly/14ebTo

There should be some other cool updates happening soon, I'll let you know once I have all the details sorted.

Ning Nomads has a steadily growing group base which is cool, gives me time to mingle, which is what networking is really about.

Other news - fitby40 - okay I cheated the other day and ate a bag of sweeties - broke my tooth as punishment - I will do an updated video once my tooth is fixed or extracted or whatever my new dentist has planned for it :-(

just brought web domain fitby40

I was talkng about Ninja's with my sister just a minute ago - and remebred this "fit by 40" url to see if it has gone - I've opted or the .info again as it's only 82p for a year - the .co.uk of the domain is still availble - so any fitness coaches out there you have a ready and waiting affiliate to blog about your website (for a commission - clickbank herbal / healthy lifestyle product maybe ?)

Let me know.

For the time being I might use this blog to promote health drinks or something - oh yeah - forgot the title then - dam - fit by 40 - can it be done - i'm like SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo unhealthy maybe i should get out the trampoline again.

Just need some hardcore/techno music or something fast to jump up and down too.

Now if I could just find a Ninja suit i could be the "flying ninja nomad that wants to be fit by 40!"  - woow!

Facebook | Top Friends have over 17 Million monthly users

Check out this website I found at apps.facebook.com

You get a free profile (friendly URL) - here's mine as example: http://zaralockwood.topfriends.com/

In comments you can ad video's / embed code and a link to a website.

I think it's an untapped area of facebook - that people kind of forgot about using more actively after facebook dropped them for a couple weeks about a year or so ago - many people rejoined but they were in full swing before to be cut off - never quite got the interaction back they had before.

Maybe a niche group of people could make use of top friends as it's rather like a club with max of 32 members but anyone with top friends can visit your profile or photos/leave comments or buy your profile - which has the friends for sale aspect to it. superpokes/buy a drink are probably one of the few mass poking tools left on facebook - where you can send virtual "hello" to everyone on your list of contacts - so it's like twitter - a mass broadcast with chicken pictures instead!

what the recession looks like to me

I watched that dragon's den enquiry with the bankers, with the lords of the realm and the guy from Asda, reminded me of the grilling the Heathrow airport (terminal 5)people got.

Anyway I likenit all to the banks being like the springs that hold the strain of weight (of the economy) from the impact of the consumer (the person jumping up and down on the trampoline)

The banks were all sharing the load - balancing out the pressure - maybe eventually they forgot the laws of gravity and started jumping up and down with the consumer - doing "spring juggling" where each swaps (hedge funds and debts could be juggled between banks) "hot potato" was thrown into the mix - subprime mortgages - that leads to miss judgement and human error creeping in.

Then the "Caldera effect" of trampolining kicked in - a spring weakend (a Bank went bust - in UK that spring was Northern Rock - in USA I guess it was Fanny Mae and that other one ?)

Springs are pinging - the jumper is still jumping unaware the springs are failing - until PING all the springs buckle at once - and customer and economy are flung into the air - big volcanic spot raging beneath....busted.

Then comes the germoline (the savlon - antiseptics - the taxpayer heal thy self) - if the conservatives got in MORE people would end up repossessed as they would tell the banks to be more vicious on homeowners - dog eat dog

- so while people are complaining that "liberals" are injecting future earnings into the consumer wounds - it's a choice of that - or be strangled in your bed by a true blue capitalist

- a real capitalist would eat you - literally to save their life from starvation - as nature is a capitalist - it's not an unnatural condition - it's just very harsh and uncaring like the negative forces of mother nature destroy's in order for regrowth of the fittest.

New Labour is a kind of hybrid - northern rock - are an example of the hybrid in action - repossessions up - yet nationalized.

I imagine the banks are confused by all this going on as they obviously wanted their cash back with Interest - as presumably that how they make their money - but the bank charges were excessive and a way to instantly pay a debt via CASH to avoid these charges never happened - which is where the subprime thingy went wrong as - if a percentage of the subprime people were getting paid on the black market by richer people trying to avoid paying tax - by stealth or by strong suggestion to self employed on low wages that they don't need to both with tax, then is all gets in a mess - no different to all this hedgefund stuff (the dodgey version of that they were talking about) - institutionalized avoidance of paying for anything over the counter whenever possible.

All this destabilizes Billy average the taxpayer (as I've said elsewhere) and he turns into a thug and forces weaklings/ vunerable types (that may or may not have rational or intellectual thinking occasionally like me) to suffer to make them eel better.

And full circle we are back to nature and killing - with civilization and society grabbing nooks and cranny's from the big flood... slosh - swimming or drowning depends on the temperature and if you have people supporting one minute then strangling you the next - trampoline or torture rack - perception depends on mood, mood is supplied by chemicals in brain supplied by environment....

Here's my chart anyway, is quite basic after that brain melting - sugar low commuing on so I'll end it there.

Lemonpie Update #1

Hi Internet people

- This is a 'quick hello' and a test post for another service I've come accross just recently which sounds like what I've been looking for to broadcast general messages accross my network of blogs.

It's Posterous and looks to be like hellotxt but designed for longer blogs than micro blogs, looks like it uses a wordpress interface - I'm using the on-line version as I'm still not comfy using e-mail to send anything. I do contact my Ning contacts and membership every two weeks or so with an invite to a club or to drum up some new members and I might kick start my IMC autoresponder again... might.

I've noticed some people I recognise from twitter here, that have been here a while and I'm wondering why I haven't found this place before as it's the very thing I've been looking out for, but not seen, i must admit i haven't searched as such, but I've mentiond my need of a time saver on webmastertoolkit - just suprised nobody came back with this service, but I can think of a few reasons, in terms of 'noise' from solely commerical posts (you know the S word)

Anyway my use for this service is like this - i will use it in a similar way to hello text but to update my blogger blogs, as since twitter I haven't been posting so much there - but these posts should get there rather like a newsletter - and it is another way for me to remind you to follow me on twitter @lemonknickers and/or come join my Ning Nomads Club - I have freebies for beginners, reviews of software and webtools I use / have used - I'm sticking eBooks on there and if you are a long time Internet user, we might already know each other from a past forum, as I've been on-line for 7 years (or a year either way) I stopped counting after 5 years when a webby person officially becomes a Veteran - so come in and say hello - if you are friendly!

Okay end of my first blog wide update, so lets see where this goes (fingers crossed)

And bye for now.

Now look at that...

I know your ads aren't working. (I have xray eyes too)

How do I know this?

Because I'm betting that you're probably getting a pathetically
low click-through rate and an almost non-existent conversion
rate out of those ads.

Let me explain.

The truth is, banner ads and link exchanges just don't work
like they did... People just ignore them most of the time.

Google and other major companies that get the bulk of their
profits from advertising have tried to counteract this
'banner blindness' by making ads different sizes
- which worked ... for awhile.

You can be the best graphic designer or copywriter in the
world - and it doesn't make one bit of difference. Your ads
still have a horrible conversion rate.

Want to know which kind of ads people don't ignore?
==> Header Ads.

The header is the area at the very top of a web page. It
usually includes the product name, maybe a photo of the
creator and a graphic of a software box or book cover.

It's also the very first thing people notice on a website,
and the very first graphic to load.

Now what if you could take this same header area from
someone else's site and put YOUR ads on it?

Can you see just how much more targeted that would be?
The site visitors can't help but notice it - which means
you get more click-thrus and more eager buyers coming
to YOUR site!

See what I mean at www.HeaderAds.com

It's like getting someone else to do all the marketing
for you. All you do is sit back and watch as the customers
pour in!

And best of all - if you go to www.HeaderAds.com
- you'll find out exactly how much this advertising costs:

Nothing!

But I should warn you. As soon as the big marketing
pros hear about this - their servers are going to fill up
fast. And once the space fills up, they might have to
start charging.

Get in now before it's too late - www.HeaderAds.com

How to save £31.00 a month - check your bank statement

Okay I'm going to own up to something Dumb for the last year and a half (at least) I have been paying £8.00 a month towards a service I've never used - and here's how it happened....

I ordered a CD off Amazon or via a facebook advert (or another big retailer, but i'm sure it was them) and I was automatically enrolled into a shoppers discount program without fulling realizing it (i.e that they were GIVEN/PASSED ON my debit card details by the merchant I was buying from - during the after sales process or check out process.

- all I remember is that during the purchasing process there was a little box already ticked blending in which the merchant site saying something like - "this will enroll you into our shopping and savings discount program" - and i just thought it was a freebie coupon / voucher thing where they send you more details and try to flog me something later - what they didn't tell me is they were taking £8.00 a month for this "service"

- they have effectively been "skimming" my account for the last year or two.

The reason I didn't spot it - is well I did kind of spot it but because I make little purchases on-line and have direct debits each month - I actually usually thought to myself this Fee was something to do with my LOVEFILM subscription, kind of grumbled (as i thought LOVEFILM had probably tricked me into a higher subscription package when i signed up with them at a similar time) then forgot about it.

The annoying thing is I pointed out this as a possible mis sell to an ecademy member a few months after i first spotted these showing up on my bill - yet still forgot to cancel my own mis sold subscription to the same service! (update just looked at that post - it was the ecademist that pointed it out to me, I thought he was talking about the dropshipping part!)

Now what this shows me - is that this kind of thing might be rife on the Internet - especially as more and more micro payments (small amounts of money)get spent on membership services.

It proves to me that a consumer can easily sign up / be tricked at check out in to a hidden subscription fee - then they might dismiss it every month or think it is part of another purchase - I've got a feeling I've been sent to this cancel page before too - so maybe I've unsubscribed before and the cancellation has "gone missing" - and I've just thought - cancelled sorted, moved on - when it's still there taking my cash.

As a consumer that never REALLY agreed to this pillaging of my account monthly of 8 quid and all this recession talk - I just thought I'd warn you to check your statements each month that has a minus figure and looks like "shoppers discounts" or "shoppers rewards" hidden amongst their out goings as you may well be signed up - to a discount program that is charging you a monthly FEE - for nothing - as in sweet FA. (okay maybe some kind of postal insurance cover, which as an ebayer i know what is covered, and discounts through their links I'm not a big spender on-line so very unlikely to use any of their discounted links)

The trick may have changed now- but look for "opt out" boxes before you complete purchases at check out they don't tell you the tick is a contract - as this 3rd party company (this shopper discount rewards one) will automatically take money out from your bank each month with any purchase UNLESS you untick the box - and something you could easily over look or misinterpret as a freebie during the checkout process - so BE WARNED

Note I'm not going to add the actual web address of the site as that can lead to people accidentally joining scam sites, this has been proven by psychologists that study shopping habits - people can be fooled by the brain into remembering a warning as a recommendation - if a link is there, a person may book mark it,then forget it is a baddie and sign up.

SO JUST CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS, AND LET ME KNOW I YOU HAVE BEEN SCREWED THIS WAY.

£8.00 is an average weeks worth of electricity in a small flat like mine - and as I've been on-line ages - I already know where to get all the best discounts from - I don't need this kind of club to tell me - their optin form probably makes them ALOT of MONEY so they aren't doing it for love - which is why I have no probs admitting to this boob - I'm useless with cash - always have been - doesn't mean they deserve a pat on the back

- It's also creeper than spyware - like a parasite jumping into an open wound (your wallet)at the check out and hiding in there growing fat - the amount of unauthorized (with a £25.00 charge and interest) overdrafts I've got in the last year can probably be directly related to them on occasions - as an unexpected out going - which puts the price up to £31.00 a month - being sucked off by a "discount" program.

I have cancelled - I've done this post to hopefully remind me to check my statements and make sure they stop taking any more cash off me.

Dodgey DJ's depressing dole seekers this Xmas ?

They may as well be handing out razor blades and paracetamol to claimants...

OMG have you heard ? - talksport is being renamed "Corpse Sport" as it's the time of year (just before christmas when suicide rates go up in the country) where the DJ like to have a really BIG dig at anyone on benefits for the the TAX Payers Charity "Get Your Fat F**king Lazy Ass Back To Work, You, Work Shy Benefit SCUM" or GYFFLABTWYWSBS (for short),

Yes santa's not quite here yet, so the friendly DJ's can make the perfect taxpayer feel reassured that just like the government adverts cracking down on cheats - they too can broadcast to the nation, just want they think of GYFFLABTWYWSBSer's too.

So in the spirit of Christmas we will look at some of their dirty victims ...err claimants... in the Corpse Sport Towers benefits agency -

DRUG ADDICTS - self inflicted injuries - send the f**kers down a mine, make 'em dig the friggin dirt for 10 hours and tuppence a day - it'll give them self respect. (this going back to the womb in darkness may also heal the mental wounds cause by psychotic parents - that always managed to hold down a job)

SINGLE PARENT MOTHERS: dirty sl*ts "should learn to keep their legs closed, can't blame it all on the bloke" (they are only dirty s**ts if they weren't beaten up or abused - we is nice here...)

DEPRESSED PEOPLE: don't exist mate, f**king losers- they need to wake up and get a f**king life - sitting around in your pajamas all day you dirty, lazy, scabs -there are people dying in other countries you know and taxpayer has to fund your grubby self centered lifestyle.

- Here'a a free noose, do us all a favor! - like now rather than later- there is a rescession on... (other options include taking a drugs overdose, lying down on a motorway or standing in front of a train - go on you know you want to - it'll a be a relive for your working extended family who think you are scum too... the taxpayers don't REALLY want to pay for your medication, and hobnail boots for the next 40 years or so.

BLAH happy xmas to you to.

From My oublietter's Scrapbook Blog with bits on it - Zara Lockwood

disclaimer: - naturally talksport always remind people hourly and at the end of a 4 hour rant that they are talking about - cheats only - not people without legs (unless they are junkie scum and it don't count, and not women that have separated from their men because they are violent - unless you are having a relationship with yet another man or buy clothes or make up - then you are a dirty tart.) thankyou.

running about like a headless chicken again...

things - Zoocoda - teething trouble with the templates I never expected - I know now, so future digests with all be sent in the sand dollar blogger template as they come out stable on hotmail.

I'm mulling over what membership area site software to use for incomeclubpro.com

been doing some report reading of various marketer's - sharing their money making method's and systems for creating cash - rather like a recipe all of them use the same ingredients just combined in different ways - every report I read lately gives me a new piece of information I didn't know how to do - Tom Mansell for example provided me with a useful little script that cloaks urls using php - which I probably could have found on a webmaster forum somewhere but when put in context (of the freebie report)it gave a practical example of where using it might be useful.

Now I'm not into cloaking generally but for the purpose of using in a system - like a membership club it makes sense - so I will be trying out that script later!

anyway enough for now I need to tackle my e-mal box which has been going slightly mad over the last couple weeks as I'm keeping tabs on too many things!

Before Blogging, Part 1

Visit WordPress DIY Videos (wordpress on crack)

Do you want to join in on the blogging phenomenon? Before you get started, you should know a few things about blogging. A blog is an online journal. Thousands of bloggers post online each day. It's a trend that began in 1997 and still grows steadily.

You Can Be Personal. Many times new bloggers are not sure what to post. They know that their blog is a personal space, but they are afraid to make their posts personal in any way. The best bloggers put themselves out there via their posts. They will post what is on their mind and their opinions on pressing issues. They may do so in a humorous manner or be quite serious.

Bloggers can be afraid to post their true thoughts because their blog allows comments. Some people will disagree with your thoughts and posts, but you should not let that hold you back. These people don't personally know you, so their comments really don't matter much. Don't be afraid to show your true feelings on your blog. That is what an online journal is all about.

Don't Be Too Personal. It is fine to be somewhat personal in your posts, but be cautious about how much you disclose about yourself. For example, including your phone number or address in a post or on your profile is probably not a good idea. Only allow people to know things that you want them to know. For your own safety, you might not want to post your last name either. When someone has a lot of information about you, they can victimize you through identity theft, or harassment. Stay safe and don't post private information.

Never Use Real Names. When you are posting, and keeping it personal and real, there can be times in which other people in your life come up in topic. Be very careful including other people in your posts. First, never use their real names unless you get permission from that person. It will only lead to trouble. If the person you mention reads your blog, they could get offended that you are writing about them. Even if the post is positive, it's as if you are talking behind their back. Try to keep the posts about you or celebrities or other public figures. Keep everyone else's business private.
